Lady Mobster member, Marilyn McGinnis tells us about how Camp Koinonia 2022, held June 20 – 25, was a tremendous success! Campers learned about Koinonia’s history and current work, explored different human rights, served others in meaningful ways, and had a ton of fun in the process. Guest speakers and facilitators inspired campers with stories of the Civil Rights Movement in Americus, shared the power of music, explained how Koinonia’s farming methods care for the earth, demonstrated how Koinonia’s bakery prepares delicious products, described the needs and strengths of people in immigration detention, and led campers on a kayaking adventure!
